About Andreas Osteresch
Andreas Osteresch is a shipbuilding supplier based in Rhede/Ems. The company manufactures fans (short- and long-shaft axial fans), throttle and shut-off dampers, steel doors, tank vent heads, ventilation flaps, access, flush-deck and service hatches as well as demisters, louvres and silencers for ship ventilation. In addition, complete closure systems are supplied on board ships. Production is mainly in steel; the quality standard in the workshop is monitored by Germanischer Lloyd. As a supplement, the company offers services such as machine diagnostics, commissioning, vibration measurement, in-situ field balancing, laser-optic coupling alignment as well as motor and bearing replacement. The products are used on cruise ships, supply vessels of the German Navy, yachts and container ships as well as in industry. Due to the high environmental requirements of ports, new concepts in ship silencing have been developed.
