Andresen & Jochimsen EXPORTPACK is a packaging company in Hamburg specializing in export packaging, crate building, container stowage and packaging logistics. The company manufactures custom crates, mainly made of plywood with solid sawn timber flooring and square timber battens allowing forklift access from below, as well as packaging made of wood and heavy-duty corrugated board. Seaworthy packaging is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of HPE (trade group for packaging to HPE standard). On the 20,000 m² site with 9,000 m² of hall space, three container packing ramps, side and front loaders and a crane capacity of 80 tonnes are available; via the Reiherstieg-Schleusenfleet, direct loading of inland vessels and lighters is possible. The range of services also includes corrosion protection, co-packing and series packaging, packaging development, and the full handling of packaging logistics, including packaging of individual orders at the customer's premises or in the port. A fully integrated ERP system with customer EDI connection and packaging liability insurance round out the offering. Packed and dispatched items include highly sensitive apparatus from mechanical engineering, laboratory equipment, refrigeration furniture, and trade fair and marketing crates.
