The Company
The Angst+Pfister Group is a network of specialized companies that develops and produces high-performance polymer solutions. At its core are sealing technology (O-rings, molded parts, rotary and linear seals), anti-vibration technology as well as plastics, fluid handling, drive and sensor/motor solutions. The Group covers the entire value chain – from application analysis through material and compound development, prototyping, testing and certification to series production and global logistics. With more than 2,500 proprietary elastomer compounds (including PERTEC®, evolast®, HITEC®) based on FKM, VMQ, EPDM, HNBR, FFKM and NBR, the company manufactures components for coffee machines, rail, agricultural and construction machinery, automotive, food & beverage, pharma/medtech, oil & gas and drinking water applications. The Group is present at 24 locations worldwide, employs more than 300 engineers and operates production capacities in more than 15 countries on three continents. The headquarters with sales and engineering is in Glattbrugg/Opfikon near Zurich; three R&D centers include the Innovation Lab at the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich Dübendorf.

Materials & Processes
FKM (fluoro rubber)
Highly chemical-resistant seals for cleaning agents, descalers and high-temperature applications, e.g. pump and nozzle seals.
VMQ (silicone)
Food-compliant high-purity silicone material for water channels, filter baskets and components with direct food contact.
EPDM
Resistant to hot water and steam, e.g. for brewing chambers and drinking water applications according to KTW-BWGL.
FFKM (perfluoroelastomer)
For extreme chemical and thermal stress in pharmaceutical, chemical and oil & gas applications.
NBR (nitrile rubber)
Proven elastomer material for oil- and grease-contacting dynamic seals.
HNBR
Elastomer material, among others as an alternative to FKM in the context of anticipated PFAS regulations.
PTFE
Low-friction high-performance plastic sealing material for rotating shafts and linear cylinders.
ACM / CR
Elastomers for rotary seals with specific oil, temperature and aging requirements.
