About Anhydritec

ANHYDRITEC GmbH, headquartered in Oberursel (Hesse), is a subsidiary of Anhydritec Europa and part of the Minersa Group, one of the largest producers of synthetic anhydrite in Europe. The company manufactures synthetic anhydrite (calcium sulphate, CaSO4) as well as a binder compound for calcium sulphate flowing screeds, which is produced in its own plants in Boxberg (Germany) and Geertruidenberg (Netherlands). Under the Gyvlon brand, the flowing screed is delivered just-in-time to the construction site by partners as a factory-fresh mortar-like product; over 1 million square metres have already been installed in large and small construction projects. In addition, anhydrite is used under the TecDrit brand as an additive for the cement and fertiliser industry, for aerated block production and for the inertisation of contaminated soils. The group operates five production sites, six laboratories and two R&D centres in Europe and sells in 15 countries. The German company additionally offers technical application consulting, planning and training for Gyvlon flowing screed.

Materials & Products

CaSO4

Anhydrite (calcium sulphate)

Anhydrite mineral of the calcium sulphate family, base material for flowing screeds and industrial applications.

Synthetic anhydrite

Obtained as a by-product of industrial processes and a sustainable substitute in cement, fertiliser and aerated concrete applications.

Binder compound (Gyvlon)

High-quality binder for calcium sulphate flowing screeds, meeting stringent quality requirements.

Calcium sulphate flowing screed (CAF)

Factory-fresh mortar with good flowability, high dimensional stability and good thermal conductivity, particularly as underfloor heating pipe embedding.

Conventional calcium sulphate screed (CA)

Factory-fresh mortar as the conventional variant of calcium sulphate screed.
