About ANNAX

ANNAX GmbH, headquartered in Brunnthal near Munich, develops and produces passenger information systems for rail vehicles, metro and tram operators. The portfolio includes PIS control units, LED and TFT displays (iSmart), seat reservation systems, the RailVox audio system, emergency call intercom stations, passenger counting systems, on-board infotainment and video management systems with network video recorders. The products are designed to EN 50155 for railway use and are 100% functionally tested before leaving the factory. In addition to development, production and sales, ANNAX offers project management, installation, maintenance and worldwide repair services for passenger information systems. Founded in 1996 through a management buy-out from a Bosch department, the company grew from ten to more than 500 employees and has been part of Wabtec Corporation since 2018. In addition to its headquarters in Brunnthal, ANNAX maintains a site in Bern (Switzerland) as well as a presence in China.
