About ANSMANN
ANSMANN AG is a family-owned technology company founded in 1991 by Edgar Ansmann, headquartered in Assamstadt (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops and manufactures custom battery packs, chargers, power supplies and drive systems for Li-ion, NiMH and lead-acid technologies and, according to its own figures, processes more than 28 million cells per year. Its service offering covers consulting, cell characterization, prototyping, series production, certification, international transport handling as well as disposal and recycling as a one-stop shop. An in-house UN test center in Assamstadt performs transport and safety testing according to UN 38.3; in addition, there is an automated SMD electronics production facility at the Huizhou site (China). Customers come from industries such as medical technology, garden equipment, e-mobility and drive technology. Around 400 employees work at seven sites worldwide, including sales companies in France, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
