Since 1984, ansonic Funk- und Antriebstechnik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing radio systems and door drives at its Essen location for industrial applications and OEM requirements. The radio systems are used for radio-controlled opening and closing of gates, barriers and turnstiles, for alarm transmitters, smoke alarm systems, and for operating stairlifts, cranes, intralogistics systems, hydraulic systems and rope winches. The door drives move garage doors, large gates, swing, pivot, sliding and sectional doors. Since 2010, company owners Gerhard Ganser and Reimund Konrad, together with their team, have been developing both electronic and mechanical components entirely in-house. The company works as an OEM supplier with customers from the gate and door construction, intralogistics, lifting technology and industrial automation sectors, and keeps its supply chain manageable with high-quality materials and European partners.
