About ANT AG
ANT Applied New Technologies AG was founded in July 1999 in Lübeck and specialises in water abrasive suspension (WAS) technology. The company develops and produces mobile and stationary cutting systems, special machines and tools for separating, cutting and removing material – including remote-controlled solutions for use above and under water. The technology is used, among other things, in the offshore sector, in the oil and gas industry, in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD/IEDD), in the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and in ship recycling. Since 2016, the process has also been offered stationary for the manufacturing industry and contract manufacturing via the patented ConSus® technology; for this purpose, the subsidiary ConSus – ANT Stationary Cutting Solutions GmbH was established. The company employs more than 50 staff with a high proportion of engineers and secures its know-how through worldwide patents. It is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.

Materials and Processes
Water Abrasive Suspension (WAS) process
Patented suspension process for cold cutting of high-strength, thick and tensile materials up to 2,500 bar system pressure.
ConSus® continuous cutting process
Continuous supply of garnet sand via a sluice process without process interruption, operating pressure 500–1,500 bar.
Pure water jet cutting
Cutting of soft materials such as rubber, foam and thin plastics without abrasive medium.
Erosive WAS process
Removal of deposits and coatings in pipes and on surfaces with low reactive torque.
Steels / high-strength steels
Separation of components and structures even in large material thicknesses, including reactor pressure vessel steel.
Stainless steel
Cold-cuttable separation without heat input, also usable under water.
CFRP and GRP (composites)
Crack-free cutting of fibre-reinforced composites as well as sandwich and hollow structures.
Ceramics and glass
Chipless cutting of brittle materials without edge damage.
Rubber, foam, plastics
Pure water jet cutting of soft and thin materials.
reinforced concrete
Separation of reinforced concrete structures, among others in nuclear decommissioning.
