About Anteo
Since 1969, Anteo S.p.A. has been manufacturing hydraulic tail lifts and lifting platforms for vans, trucks, trailers and semi-trailers. The portfolio comprises more than 130 models in over 30,000 configurations: cantilever, retractable, tuckaway, column and van lifts as well as hydraulic ramps, wheelchair lift systems and special applications, with load capacities from 600 to 3000 kg. All products are 100% manufactured at the two production facilities in Molinella between Bologna and Ferrara: Anteo 1 houses the aluminium platform manufacturing with robotized Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), CNC control, KTL and powder coating, assembly lines and final testing; Anteo 2 handles customizing, packaging and worldwide shipping. Materials are high-tensile aluminium (specialist since 1992) and high-strength steels; steel components receive a double KTL-Plus coating with powder paint in a 180-°C oven, pins and columns are chrome-plated. Production is Just-in-Time manufacturing with lead times of four to five weeks; quality is ensured by 50,000 load-cycle endurance tests on prototypes and full traceability of all manufacturing steps.

Quality
Before series production starts, each prototype is tested with 50,000 load cycles at full load; all manufacturing steps from incoming goods inspection to final testing of every tail lift are monitored and traceable.
