About us
Since 1979, Antike Lampen Scherler GmbH has operated a specialist lamp shop for lamps of all eras at the same location at Gervinusstr. 15 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The range extends from kerosene lamps through Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Bauhaus to designs from the 1950s, as well as new lamp accessories and replacement glass. In its own workshop, old metal lamps and frames are repaired and restored, with small soldering work, conversions, polishing work and rewiring with textile cable carried out. In the field of glasswork, the company offers glass bonding, replacement of broken glass and the organization of reproductions of destroyed glass. The company also prepares valuation appraisals for lamps and glass, among other things for insurers. Its references include the restoration of the Chinese Pavilion at Sanssouci Palace.
