Anton Paar Group AG is a holding company headquartered in Graz (Styria, Austria) that unites six subsidiaries under one roof: from high-tech measurement technology for industrial and private customers to automation and robotics solutions and sports analysis, through to gastronomy and real estate development. Its best-known subsidiary, Anton Paar GmbH, develops, produces and sells highly precise laboratory instruments and process measuring systems and is regarded as the global market leader in density and concentration measurement, rheometry and CO2 measurement. The Group employs around 4,850 people and sells its products through a network of 40 sales subsidiaries in more than 110 countries. The Group's core competence is precision manufacturing; for decades, Anton Paar GmbH has invested around 14.5 % of annual revenue in research and development. The Group is owned by the non-profit Santner Privatstiftung and is not listed on the stock exchange.
