About anvajo
anvajo is a technology company from Dresden specializing in laboratory diagnostics at the point of need. Based on research at TU Dresden, founder Stefan Fraedrich developed the fluidlab platform, which combines digital holographic microscopy (DHM), extinction spectrometry (360–700 nm), and machine learning in a single compact device. The company develops and manufactures its own analysis devices such as fluidlab vet 1 for veterinary diagnostics and fluidlab R-300 for cell analysis in research, as well as OEM-capable optical modules with a software stack and assay development for external analyzer systems. The AI models run entirely on-device, without any cloud connection, and can also be deployed on embedded GPU platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson. Applications are found in clinical diagnostics, veterinary medicine, life sciences, pharma, the food industry, and environmental analysis. The approximately 60-strong interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and software developers works in Dresden; development and manufacturing are carried out in accordance with ISO 13485.
