ANYbotics is a manufacturer specializing in autonomous robotics, headquartered in Zurich. The company develops and produces the four-legged inspection robot ANYmal, which automates routine inspections in industrial plants. The robot patrols autonomously in complex and harsh environments and captures consistent data on plant condition, e.g. for the early detection of operating faults in plant components. In addition, the operations platform Shift is provided for mission planning, anomaly detection and the conversion of findings into workflows; more than 120,000 inspections are analyzed each month across over 1,000 monitored industrial assets. ANYbotics was founded in 2016 as a spin-off of ETH Zurich, where the technology has been researched since 2009, and employs over 200 staff from around 20 nations. Customers come from the power & utilities, mining and metals, oil and gas, and chemicals sectors, including Petronas, Shell and BASF.
