Apel Pappenverarbeitung GmbH was founded in 1993 by Hans-Dieter Apel and is a privately owned packaging manufacturer located in Spenge near Bünde (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company develops and manufactures individual cardboard boxes and die-cut packaging from solid and corrugated cardboard, as well as formed parts from solid cardboard, for example, for the upholstered furniture industry. The range of services includes proprietary packaging development, including design drawings and plotting, die-cutting of packaging, processing of solid and corrugated cardboard, lamination of cardboard (including with PE foam), and die-cutting of hollow core panel boards. Printed packaging is also die-cut. Apel relies on environmentally friendly material made from recycled waste paper. Small series are produced on a proprietary plotter, and delivery is handled by a company-owned fleet. Customers come from industries such as the automotive industry, the glass industry, and the upholstered furniture industry.
