About Apera Instruments
Apera Instruments has been active in the development and manufacture of electrochemical sensors and measuring instruments since 1991. The product range comprises pH, ORP (redox), conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity and ion measuring instruments (ISE) in the form of pocket testers, portable devices, benchtop laboratory instruments as well as LabSen brand sensors (electrodes). All key components, in particular all sensors, are manufactured in-house, giving the company full control over quality and performance. The LabSen electrodes use lead-free glass, S-type hemispherical glass membranes, ceramic diaphragms, silver reference systems with Silver Ion Trap, as well as Protelyte electrolyte suitable for biotechnology and food applications. Customers come from biotechnology and pharma, food and beverage, water and wastewater quality, science and research, as well as education and hobby. Protelyte electrolyte
Tasteless, odorless and microbiologically safe electrolyte in accordance with EC Regulation 1935/2004 for biotechnology, pharma and protein-containing liquids.
Ceramic diaphragm (triple)
Triple ceramic junction for stabilizing the reference system in electrodes such as LabSen 823.
Silver (reference system)
Silver-ion reference system with Silver Ion Trap minimizes clogging caused by proteins and sulfites.
LabSen S-type glass membrane
Hemispherical membrane with fast response, ten times stronger than conventional glass membranes.
Swiss-patented temperature sensing
Integrated 30K NTC temperature sensor shortens response time by 40% compared to conventional thermistors.
