About Apium
Apium 3D Technologies GmbH develops and manufactures 3D printers for processing high-performance and technical polymers. The current model, the Apium P400, is an IDEX platform (FDM/FFF) with a build volume of 400 x 300 x 300 mm that can process materials including PEEK, Ultem™ (PEI), POM-C ESD and PVDF. At its core is a patented adaptive zoned heating system designed to deliver strong layer adhesion and uniform material properties in all directions without the energy-intensive heating of a heated build chamber. The open system allows the use of user-specific materials and any slicing software; the independent dual-extrusion system can double capacity or process different materials in a single print run. Further features include automatic bed leveling, optical calibration, sensors for process monitoring, an integrated material dryer up to 150°C, automatic print logs, as well as remote access and user management. With nearly a decade of experience in processing high-performance polymers, Apium additionally offers comprehensive technical support.
