Apparatebau-Wärmetechnik GmbH (APWTE), based in Wetzlar-Dutenhofen, has specialised for over 50 years in the design and manufacture of steam generators, hot water heaters and heat exchangers. The apparatuses are designed and engineered in-house, with production carried out by long-serving qualified staff. The product range includes shell-and-tube heat exchangers (U-tube and straight-tube units), condensate-side controlled heat exchangers, vapor condensers, clean steam generators, steam generators, pressure vessels, steam distribution headers, heating elements, heaters for CIP cleaning systems and syrup heaters. Shell-and-tube bundles for third-party products and spare parts for Schaffstaedt heat exchangers are also manufactured. Materials used are ferritic steel, stainless steel (1.4571, 1.4539, partly FDA-compliant) and copper-nickel alloys.
