April Furniture GmbH, based in Wiesbaden, is a German manufacturer of exclusive, weather-resistant designer outdoor furniture. Founder and managing director Florian Asche, who previously co-founded the furniture company e15 in 1995, designs modularly combinable lounge systems as well as dining furniture, which are sold directly via the online shop without intermediaries. Production takes place in two specialised workshops, or upholstery shops, in southern Germany near Stuttgart, handcrafted to customer order. The core of the products is fully upholstered outdoor furniture with permanently integrated padding made of Quick Dry Foam, covered in solution-dyed, water- and UV-resistant Sunbrella® fabric from yacht building; frames and legs are made of stainless steel, dining tables of ceramic, and accessories of aluminium. The furniture is designed for year-round outdoor use. Customers include discerning private clients in Germany and abroad; exhibitions exist in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain.
