About Aprithan
aprithan Schaumstoff GmbH in Abtsgmünd is a production company of the puren Group and manufactures insulation materials made of polyurethane rigid foam (PUR) and PIR rigid foam. Production takes place using the double-belt process: the reaction mixture is applied in an oscillating motion from the mixing head onto the lower facer layer of the plant and is bonded to the lower and upper facer layers in the foaming channel. The CFC/HCFC-free continuous foam boards are produced in various dimensions and, depending on the product requirements, are manufactured with different facer layers. On modern production lines, the insulation boards are further finished, for example by adding tongue-and-groove profiles and being equipped with additional lamination layers. All insulation materials are manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN 13165 and are officially approved for construction. The PUR/PIR products are distributed through the parent company puren gmbh, for whom Aprithan has been producing since 2005.
