About APS Applied Power Systems

APS Applied Power Systems AG is a Swiss manufacturer of power electronics and power supply systems for sustainable mobility on rail and road. At its headquarters in Niederbuchsiten, the company develops and manufactures charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles (depot and fast charging), onboard power supplies and auxiliary power converters for rail vehicles, DC/DC converters for trolleybuses and battery trains, as well as track-side power supplies for emission-free construction sites. The product range includes the All-in-One Charger AC (2 x 180 kW or 240 kW Boost with 500 A), the Rail2Road Charger DC with a 400 kW power unit and remote satellites for CCS or panto-up charging, as well as the Terminal Charging System (TCS 4/TCS 8) with double-T steel construction, overhead cable management, integrated solar PV system and optional battery storage. The systems are based on a modular 19" power architecture with forced-air cooling, IP54 enclosures and standard interfaces such as OCPP, ISO 15118 and VDV 261. In addition to manufacturing, APS offers lifecycle services including repair, maintenance, original spare parts, remote maintenance and technical consulting from its own service workshop. The systems are manufactured in Switzerland and used worldwide.
