About Porometer
Porometer is a brand of Aptco Technologies GmbH headquartered in Berlin and manufactures measuring instruments for capillary flow porometry. The portfolio includes gas-liquid porometers of the POROLUX Cito series (Pressure Scan Method, pores from 13 nm to 500 µm) and the POROLUX Revo series with the patented Pressure Step Stability method, as well as the liquid-liquid porometer POROLIQ for pores from 2 nm to 1 µm. The instruments and the associated PoreSuite software are developed and manufactured in the company's own engineering and production facilities in Germany. Porometer also operates an applications laboratory in Kraków, where samples for research and quality control are measured and analyzed daily. The instruments are used in academic and industrial laboratories, in particular for characterizing membranes, nonwovens, ceramics, metals and hollow fibers for filtration and separation processes. Sales offices are located in Belgium, the USA, China and Hong Kong; Aptco Technologies is part of the international Aptco Group.
