APV - Technische Produkte GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of agricultural equipment based in Dallein, Hötzelsdorf (Lower Austria). The company develops and produces grassland maintenance equipment (harrows, grassland combiners, overseeding systems, rollers), crop care equipment such as tine harrows, Vario harrows and roller harrows as well as hoeing machines, pneumatic seeders, multi-dosiers, single-disc spreaders, machine carriers and rice seeders. The product range is complemented by fertiliser and plant protection technology as well as winter service spreaders. The machines are aimed at organic and conventional farms; APV is regarded as a specialist in pneumatic seeding and spreading technology and describes itself as one of the world's leading addresses for cover crop seeders. Manufacturing is predominantly from sheet steel with powder-coated or KTL-coated surfaces as well as stainless steel components for corrosion-exposed areas; tanks are made of plastic. Founded in 1997 as a one-man business by Jürgen Schöls, the company today employs around 200 staff in Austria and abroad and achieves an export share of around 85%. In addition to its main site in Lower Austria, APV maintains sales locations among others in Wardenburg (Germany), Poland, Romania, the USA, Brazil and Turkey, as well as a network of contract partners in over 50 countries.
