About APWORKS
APWORKS GmbH, based in Taufkirchen near Munich, is a provider of additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing) and at the same time an engineering partner for high-performance, lightweight metal components. The service portfolio includes consulting on additive manufacturing, build-to-print production including all post-processing steps, as well as design & build from engineering through to production. With its own Genome platform, APWORKS also offers customisable standard products with automated workflows and distributed manufacturing via production partners. Parts are manufactured in metallic materials, in particular the high-strength aluminium alloy Scalmalloy, for applications in aerospace, defence, motorsport, automotive, medical technology, industry and cycling. The EN9100 certification for the design and production of metallic additively manufactured products was successfully re-certified by DEKRA. The managing directors are Sebastian Lepa (CEO) and Andreas Funcke (CTO).
