AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau GmbH develops and produces fine-bubble AEROSTRIP® strip aerators for the aeration of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. Founded in 1986 in Baden (Austria), the company manufactures membranes made of 100% polyurethane as well as aerator base bodies made of high-quality PVC, and additionally offers custom-made air distribution systems as plug&play solutions as well as AEROSTRIP modules in lengths of 2 to 4 meters. The company headquarters and all production are located in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria); all products are manufactured exclusively in Austria. Every AEROSTRIP® element undergoes several testing procedures, including a final functional test under water, and receives an individual serial number for traceability. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, its products carry the certificate of the Austrian Quality Association for Water Technology and are in use in more than 2,000 wastewater treatment plants worldwide. Since 2006, AQUACONSULT has been a 100% subsidiary of the Japanese group SANKI Engineering Co., Ltd., with a branch office in Rinnthal (Germany).
