About AQUADOSIL
AQUADOSIL Wasseraufbereitung GmbH is a medium-sized company from Essen specializing in drinking water treatment. Its core business comprises consulting, planning, design and execution of drinking water treatment plants, in particular physical high-performance deacidification according to its own AQUADOSIL system (cross-flow process with fine-pored ceramic aeration tubes), aeration of iron- and manganese-containing groundwaters, stripping of highly volatile substances as well as ultrafiltration and filter plants with the special filter material DOSFILT. In addition, the company produces its own corrosion inhibitors based on phosphates and silicates at its Essen site, as well as complete dosing and tank systems in accordance with the WHG (Water Resources Act), including pipework, vessel construction and control technology with measurement and control engineering. The service spectrum includes water analysis, process engineering design, commissioning, maintenance and operational monitoring. Customers are primarily public water suppliers in Germany, Austria and France.

Materials and Processes
Plastic-free ceramic (sintered material)
Aeration tubes of the AQUADOSIL system; complies with KTW requirements and DVGW data sheet W 270 (microbiological growth test).
DOSFILT special filter material
Carbonic acid-stable natural mixed oxide for manganese removal from pH 6.5 without conditioning time.
Phosphates / Orthophosphate
Active ingredient of the corrosion inhibitors, among other things for reducing copper surface corrosion.
Silicates
Approved active ingredient for inhibition in drinking water systems.
PP
Used for pipelines, e.g. hydraulic connection of the deacidification at HB Ketternschwalbach.

Quality Assurance
Dosing agent production and the raw materials used are continuously monitored and documented in the company's own laboratory by wet-chemical routine analyses; an independent laboratory (including SGS Institut Fresenius) regularly tests the hygienic requirements and the composition of the drinking water-approved products. The ceramic material complies with the KTW requirements and passes the microbiological growth test according to DVGW data sheet W 270.
