AquaMagis Plettenberg GmbH

About AquaMagis

The AquaMagis is a municipal adventure pool in Plettenberg in the Sauerland region, which opened in February 2003 and is operated by AquaMagis Plettenberg GmbH. It was built as a new construction to replace the dilapidated Plettenberg indoor and outdoor pools, after three quarters of citizens voted in favor in a citizens' petition in 1998. The offerings include twelve water slides, various swimming pools and water attractions such as a pool bar, current channel and wave pool, as well as a textile sauna landscape with ten saunas and a fitness studio. The offering is complemented by overnight accommodation options at the AquaMagis Resort with holiday homes, apartments, cabanas and motorhome pitches. Since opening, the slide area has been expanded several times, including with Germany's first looping slide (2008), the world's first standing slides (2015) and the world's first wind slide Storm Force 1 (2018). Group offers for school classes, clubs and birthdays as well as events such as AquaFunTime round out the program.
