About aquamotec
aquamotec is a brand of EKS-Anlagenbau and develops, manufactures and installs regeneration systems for revitalising lakes, ponds and fish ponds. The purely mechanical circulation systems convey oxygen-poor deep water via a 200-mm hose just above the lake bed through a head pipe (500 mm diameter) to the surface, where a paddle wheel lets the water flow out sideways and mixes it with oxygen-rich surface water. The forced circulation generated in this way counteracts the oxygen depletion process, enables continuous sludge reduction and reduces odour formation. The systems operate CO2-neutral, are self-sufficient thanks to solar power, use a safe low voltage of 24 V and achieve a maximum circulation volume of 35 l/s per system. With over 25 years of experience and more than 350 completed projects in Germany and France, aquamotec serves municipalities, pond and lake operators as well as angling clubs. Documented installations include, among others, the solar-powered compact system Type 1-SI at Talsee and Schreckenbergsee in Dietingen as well as a Type 6-SI system in the Klosterweiher in Sankt Georgen (2021).

Additional services
Operational Safety
The systems operate with a safe low voltage of 24 V and are therefore harmless to humans and animals. The purely mechanical operation is CO2-neutral and self-sufficient thanks to solar power.
