Water-based heating and cooling supply using water as a natural refrigerant (R718)

About us
AQVA SYNERGY develops water-based supply concepts for sustainable heating and cooling. The focus is on the use of water as a natural refrigerant (R718) in a technical refrigeration process: Vacuum liquid ice generation cools water down to the freezing point, producing a flowable water-ice mixture (liquid ice/ice slurry) that serves as a cold carrier and storage medium. The heat released in the process is harnessed by suction, compression and condensation of the water vapor using a turbo compressor developed for low-pressure water vapor. The system solutions include AQVA liquid ice generators and liquid ice storage tanks for tapping artificial or natural water reservoirs as a heat source, for coupling heating, cooling and air-conditioning supply, and for seasonal shifting of thermal capacities. The service portfolio ranges from project management, concept development & consulting, operating data, demand and potential analyses, energy concepts and feasibility studies to system design, dimensioning and building services (MEP) planning support, through to procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance and operating data monitoring.
