About ARAG Bau AG
ARAG Bau AG was founded in 2000 in Wolhusen as a demolition and civil engineering company and has since developed into a full-service provider for construction machinery. The focus is on construction machinery and attachments up to 100 tonnes, which are rented, sold and maintained by 85 employees throughout Switzerland. The company operates five locations in Switzerland (Hasle LU, Obfelden ZH, Füllinsdorf BL, Villeneuve VD and Satigny GE) with workshops and a fleet of over 1'000 rental machines. The services include service and repairs for all construction machinery brands, preventive maintenance (EasyService), hydraulic hammer repairs, particulate filter cleaning, exhaust gas tests, air conditioning maintenance, undercarriage service as well as metalworking and machining work. An in-house rail competence centre looks after dual-usage rail/road vehicles, rail excavators and rail dumpers including technical inspections, FOT approvals and operator rental. As a sales and service partner, ARAG Bau AG sells products from Morooka, Epiroc, Thaler, Konverma, CMB, Hydraram, Stehr and Antraquip as well as undercarriage parts from Berco and VemaTrack.

Quality and Certification
The metalworking shop is certified to EN 15085 and is thus qualified for welding on rail vehicles. Dual-usage rail/road vehicles are looked after including technical inspection, functional testing and FOT approvals.

Foundation of ARAG Tiefbau AG in Wolhusen as a demolition and civil engineering company (two-man operation).

Start of construction machinery rental.
