About Arat Company
Arat Company Pjs is an Iranian manufacturer, processor and exporter of dried fruits and vegetables as well as ingredients made from them, such as pastes, purées, concentrates, powders and flakes. Founded in 1992, the company produces at four specialized main production sites with a total of 20,000 m² and employs more than 350 staff. The product range includes date products (Sayer, Mazafati, Zahedi, Piarom), raisins (Sultana, Thompson Seedless, Golden, Long Green), dried figs, barberries, mulberries as well as pastes and purées made from apple, apricot, red beet, carrot, pumpkin and kiwi. The raw materials come from contractually bound, certified farmers and are partly organically grown. Processing uses modern technology such as laser sorting machines and X-ray scanning as well as fully automated lines; an in-house QC and R&D laboratory monitors raw materials and end products and develops custom recipes. Customers include, among others, the bakery, beverage, snack, dairy, pet food, pharmaceutical/nutraceutical and baby food industries worldwide.
