About ARC Manufacturing Switzerland
ARC Manufacturing Switzerland is a new company of the Ascona Foods Group Ltd. based in Wattwil, Switzerland. The manufacturing plant, currently under construction, will specialize in the research, development and production of bio-based films and biodegradable packaging. The company supports its sister companies in Switzerland, Thailand, Canada and the USA in advancing innovative food production. The product range includes seamless sausages (Seamless NUTRACASING®) produced using a patented manufacturing process for the meat and vegan sector, biodegradable packaging made from 100 % biodegradable materials and, from 2025, a bio-based face mask for the cosmetics industry. ARC Manufacturing accompanies customers through the entire polymer film development process – from initial consultation through scalable production to upscaling, freight and logistics. Precision development laboratories in Thailand and trial production facilities in the USA complement the value chain. All production lines are to meet strict food safety standards.
