About ARCHEA

ARCHEA New Energy GmbH, based in Hessisch Oldendorf, is part of the ARCHEA Group and plans, builds and operates biogas and biomethane plants. The company offers complete solutions from planning and construction through to maintenance and operation, as well as services in the fields of direct marketing, balancing energy, biofuels, photovoltaics and biodiversity. More than 100 biogas plants have already been built in Europe and Latin America. Through its Brazilian subsidiary ARCHEA America Latina Ltda. in Pomerode (Santa Catarina), the group realizes projects in South America, including the biogas plant of the Cetric Group in Chapecó with biomethane upgrading by pressure swing adsorption (PSA), which will be expanded to 1,000 m³ of biomethane per hour in 2024. The biomethane is used, among other things, as CNG for vehicle fleets.
