About ADM
ADM (Archer-Daniels-Midland Company) is a globally active agricultural supply chain manager and processor that converts agricultural raw materials into products for the food, animal nutrition, fuel, and industrial and consumer goods sectors. The company operates an integrated network of procurement, logistics and processing in which grains, oilseeds and other raw materials are converted into starches, sweeteners, flours, oils, biofuels and specialty ingredients. In Human Nutrition, ADM produces citrus ingredients such as terpenes, folded oils, extracts, fractions and isolates using thermal processes (distillation with one of the largest distillation capacities) and non-thermal extraction (liquid-liquid chromatography, membrane extraction). Further manufacturing areas are precision fermentation and biomanufacturing, the production of probiotics and postbiotics in several tons per year, as well as prebiotics such as Fibersol® in powder, liquid and agglomerated form. In 2025, ADM commissioned the world's largest bioethanol carbon capture and storage facility at the Corn Complex in Columbus, Nebraska.

Materials & Processes
d-Limonene (high purity)
Natural, biodegradable solvent and degreaser from citrus peels for a broad range of products.
Citrus terpenes (orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime)
Main component of citrus oil extracted during juice production, for flavor applications.
Folded citrus oils (low-, medium-, high-folded)
Concentrated, partially distilled essential oils for commercial and industrial purposes in all tonalities.
FreshNotes fractions and isolates (decanal, linalool, myrcene, nootkatone, etc.)
Molecular fractions and isolates for nuancing citrus-flavored products.
Citrus specialties (whole-fruit extracts, terpene-free and citral-free oils)
Specialty ingredients with customer-specific specifications for flavor development.
Fibersol® (prebiotic fiber)
Prebiotic dietary fiber as powder, liquid or agglomerated form for foods, beverages and supplements.
Probiotic and postbiotic strains
Proprietary strains and custom formulations, industrially produced in several tons per year.
