About the architecture firm

The architecture firm Kluckert is an independent architecture practice based in Staufen-Grunern in the Markgräflerland region, in existence since 1978. Owner Manfred Kluckert (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) offers services along the entire construction process: assessment of properties and building fabric, project development, design and CAD planning of buildings of all kinds, as well as construction supervision and construction management. Structural engineering, energy concepts and surveying are carried out with partner firms in Staufen. Key focuses are new construction of residential and commercial buildings as well as conversions and renovations, in particular of listed buildings – more than 70 projects in this field have been realised. The firm does not see itself as a mere service provider, but also pursues a commitment to aesthetic responsibility, especially in the interplay of architecture and art; an example of this is the House of Modern Art in Grunern, realised in 2005/2006, which also houses the firm's offices.
