About Architekturwerkstatt Bornkessel
Architekturwerkstatt Bornkessel was founded in 1984 by Jürgen Bornkessel (graduated engineer (FH), architect) in Hammelburg. The owner-managed firm plans and accompanies building projects from consulting and design planning through to site supervision. Initially the focus was on residential construction under ecological aspects; later, commissions from municipalities and private investors were added in particular. In addition to architectural planning and construction management, the firm offers energy consulting with energy performance certificates and GEG calculations, support for BEG, KfW and BAFA funding programmes, property valuation in accordance with the Property Valuation Ordinance (Wertermittlungsverordnung), fire protection certificates, urban planning, old-town redevelopment and heritage conservation, as well as general planning and site supervision of large-scale projects. Reference projects include energy-efficient residential buildings (among others KfW EH 40 Plus), medical practice and office buildings, and school renovations in Münnerstadt and Bad Kissingen.
