About Arctic Paper Mochenwangen
Arctic Paper Mochenwangen GmbH looks back on a tradition as a paper manufacturer dating back to 1868, when Dr. Richard Müller founded the Gebr. Müller paper mill in Mochenwangen (municipality of Wolpertswende, district of Ravensburg) on the Schussen river. Initially, thin printing papers were made from rags, supplemented from 1873/74 by a groundwood mill and from 1881 by sulphite pulp; later the product range included printing papers, form, postage stamp, encyclopedia, map, cheque, special and food packaging papers as well as coated art printing paper. According to Wikipedia, the paper mill in Wolpertswende-Mochenwangen was shut down in 2015. Since then, the company has operated as part of the Arctic Paper Group with its sales and administration office in Hamburg (Am Sandtorkai 71, since 05.01.2024) and distributes Design Paper, Book Paper (Munken), uncoated and coated wood-free fine papers, Digital Paper as well as packaging papers and specialities for paper bags, food packaging, wraps and laminates. Customers come from the printing and packaging industries in Germany and Poland; sample sheets and A4 sheet samples can be requested via the dummy shop.
