ARIS Stellantriebe GmbH is a manufacturer of electric and pneumatic actuators based in Troisdorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company began in 1973 under the name ATIS with the production of electric actuators and control units and later expanded under the name ARIS Antriebe und Steuerungen GmbH into electric actuators, pneumatic actuators and industrial valves. The portfolio ranges from the classic actuator design to control actuators and explosion-protected solutions (ATEX, IECEx) up to the fully electronically controlled precision actuator Tensor2, complemented by linear actuators, damper actuators, industrial valves such as stainless steel ball valves as well as gas control systems and components for gas processing. ARIS develops, designs, produces and tests under one roof in Troisdorf – from the first idea to production readiness, including an in-house test laboratory. In addition to standard series, individual custom solutions and special actuators are realised as OEM products. Since 2025, ARIS has belonged to the English company Kinetrol Ltd., a specialist in rotary pneumatic actuation technology, and supplies customers worldwide through its global sales network.
