The ark Industrie AG was founded in 2008 in Aachen and is an independent, family-run German corporate group with four business divisions: test systems, medical devices, real estate and research & development. In the Testing Equipment division, the company develops and manufactures custom, sensor-fusion End-of-Line and In-Production test systems of the GEMINI product family, which integrate up to 20 sensor modalities (visual, color, temperature, friction) and are used from the cleanroom to milking equipment operations. The systems generate automatic quality reports in XML, PDF and CSV formats and integrate into existing systems via SAP and cloud connections. In the Advance Development division, the group implements Industry 4.0 automation such as automatic braiding machines, 3D-seam sewing automation with cobots and industrial monitoring devices with Modbus and OPC-UA connectivity. In addition, ark Industrie AG is the European partner for Low-Air-Loss and Lateral Rotation therapy surfaces from Agiliti and Sizewise, including sourcing, certification support and service. The company is headquartered at the Technologiezentrum am Europaplatz in Aachen; delivery goes to the EU and the USA, with APAC expansion planned from 2026.
