About ARMANO Messtechnik

ARMANO Messtechnik GmbH is a long-established company based in Grünhain-Beierfeld and Wesel-Ginderich, whose core competence lies in the manufacture and distribution of precision pressure and temperature measuring instruments. The product range includes mechanical pressure gauges (manometers), electronic pressure gauges (pressure transducers and process transmitters), diaphragm seal attachment, mechanical and electrical temperature measuring instruments (including resistance thermometers), thermowells and calibration technology. The wetted parts are made primarily from CrNi steel 316L (1.4404/1.4435), Inconel and Hastelloy; thin diaphragms are gold-plated to minimize diffusion processes. The products are manufactured to DIN EN standards and are partly available in safety versions with ATEX certification and protection rating IP65. In addition to its standard product line, the company is a specialist for custom-made products and also offers special oil- and grease-free cleaning, helium leak testing and calibration technology. The measuring instruments are used in industries such as chemicals and petrochemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food, shipbuilding, rail vehicles, energy and the semiconductor industry as well as in hydrogen technology; they are installed, among other applications, in the hydrogen test field of ZBT.

CrNi steel 316L

Proven material for wetted parts of pressure gauges, pressure transducers, diaphragm seals and thermowells.

Inconel 718

Inconel 718

Used in Bourdon tube safety pressure gauges and thermowells for demanding process conditions.

Inconel

Inconel

High-performance material with a proven track record in hydrogen and demanding processes.

Hastelloy

Hastelloy

Material for thermowells and wetted parts with corrosive media.

Au

Gold (coating of thin diaphragms)

Minimizes diffusion processes, prevents embrittlement of the wetted parts and hydrogen ingress into the fill fluid.

Quality

The instruments are manufactured to DIN EN standards; for hydrogen applications, special oil- and grease-free cleaning and a leak tightness test via helium leak test are performed. Calibration technology with accuracies depending on the product from class 1.0/1.6 to ≤ 0.05 % rounds off quality assurance.
