About ARQUE Systems
ARQUE Systems GmbH is a spin-off of the JARA Institute for Quantum Information at RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich. The company develops and markets quantum computing systems based on electron spins in silicon. The patented, highly scalable qubit architecture addresses key challenges in scaling towards broad quantum advantage for practically relevant problems. According to the company, the technology enables significantly higher qubit densities on a single chip and is compatible with scalable on-chip cryogenic control electronics. The founding team combines experience in fault-tolerant quantum architectures, semiconductor qubit technology and management; the founders' scientific careers include positions at Harvard University, Stanford University and the University of Cambridge, among others. The company is located at Campus Boulevard 30 in Aachen and continuously adds specialists in software development, qubit design, quantum architectures and quantum error correction to its founding team.
