About art photonics
The art photonics GmbH was founded in Berlin in 1998 and develops and produces optical specialty fibers and fiber-optic systems for a broad spectral range from 300 nm to 16 µm. Core products include polycrystalline mid-IR fibers (PIR) made of silver halide (AgCl:AgBr) with a continuously improved extrusion process, metal-coated silica fibers (Cu and Al coating), chalcogenide IR fibers, hollow waveguides as well as indium and zirconium fluoride glass fibers. From these fibers, spectroscopy probes (ATR, reflection, transflection and Raman probes), fiber cables, fiber bundles, couplers and accessories for FTIR/FT-NIR spectrometers, photometers and lasers are assembled. The company manufactures fibers for medical and industrial lasers in volume production (including flexible laser beam delivery for CO and CO2 lasers) and develops customer-specific products and systems. Customers include medical technology and medical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals (PAT process monitoring), industrial process control, the food and hygiene industry, laser technology, defense, environmental sensing, aerospace as well as imaging and thermal sensing. The company is based in Berlin-Adlershof and has been a member of the NYNOMIC GROUP since January 2024.
