About ART S.p.A.
ART S.p.A. was founded in Milan in 2000 by Giancarlo Luigetti and is an Italian manufacturer and Tier-1 supplier of connected infotainment systems and digital cockpit platforms for supersport and luxury vehicles. The company covers the entire data chain from acquisition, processing and transmission to visualization: products include E-Cockpit solutions, TFT displays with pixel-level local dimming, driver/occupant monitoring systems, cameras, augmented reality, telemetry and dashboards, complemented by a proprietary Software Development Kit and VR-based fast prototyping (V-Cockpit). Originally focused on electronic, electromechanical and hydraulic products for Formula 1, Rally and MotoGP, ART has extended its competencies to automotive, commercial vehicles, agricultural engineering, rail, aerospace and defense, including a telemetry system for ESA's Vega rocket. Around 300 employees, more than 80% of them engineers, develop and produce at the headquarters in Pischiello (Passignano sul Trasimeno, Umbria), which also houses the R&D and Innovation Center; further locations are Torino, Modena and Berlin. Since 2026, ART has been the parent company of the ART Group with MAE Elettronica, MATE S.r.l., ART Germany GmbH and Connecta Automotive Solution.
