About art-werk
art-werk is a non-profit association based in Geneva that supports and disseminates artistic practices addressing contemporary social and ecological issues. The association realizes exhibitions, the (re)connecting.earth Biennale, and an education programme focused on the connections between art and environmental science. The third edition of the Biennale, “Sensitive Resources”, took place in 2026 in Geneva–Annemasse and presented works by twenty artists along the Voie verte, including installations, sculptures and video works. The education programme conducts workshops offered in and out of school in the canton of Geneva, with the aim of raising young people's awareness of environmental issues through participatory workshops and a travelling group exhibition. By 2026, the repertoire comprises fifty Reconnecting Protocols, instructional works developed by artists.
