About artec systems
artec systems manufactures cable systems, control cabinets, enclosure assemblies and electrotechnical components for mechanical engineering, automation technology and device manufacturing. The service portfolio includes cable assembly (cable sets, cable harnesses, single wires, coaxial and high-voltage cables including hotmelt molding and ultrasonic welding), enclosure systems with CNC machining, laser marking and UV-LED digital printing, control cabinet and switchgear construction as well as electrotechnical special machinery with PLC controls (Siemens S7, Beckhoff). In addition, the company offers engineering/electrical design with EPLAN P8, assembly, commissioning, service and retrofit. Production ranges from single pieces and prototypes to series production; more than 20,000 production orders with over 5,000 individual articles are processed annually. In addition to copper conductors, materials include aluminium, plastic, sheet steel, stainless steel and GFRP. The company was founded in 2002, employs around 230 staff at three German sites and supplies customers inter alia in the DACH region, Benelux and the USA.

All assembled cables are 100% electrically tested; a test field according to DIN EN 60204, DIN EN 61439-2 and VDE allows high-voltage tests up to 5.5 kV AC / 6 kV DC. Crimp force monitoring, cross-section laboratories at all locations, thermal imaging analysis as well as ERP-supported traceability via barcode ensure process quality.
