About artefactum
artefactum is a contract manufacturer for cosmetics based in Rudolstadt, Thuringia. Founded in 2011 by Moritz Heitland, the company emerged from the production department of a long-established firm and accompanies projects from formulation development and raw material and packaging procurement through to production, filling and documentation. At the artefactum.campus site, emulsions, creams, gels, sprays and foams are manufactured in accordance with GMP; laboratories, process equipment and filling areas (jars, bottles, tubes, sachets) are coordinated with one another. In addition to individual developments, artefactum offers research-driven technologies such as Cream-in-Gel, Hydra Jelly, Advanced Non-Aerosol Foam and Natural Algae EyePads via its CosVention platform, as well as ready-to-launch standard formulations for private-label cosmetics under FastTrack.
