About ARTEMIS Wild

ARTEMIS GmbH & Co. KG, based in Kenn near Trier, is an EU-certified game cutting plant and offers hunters year-round game purchasing and game collection. At the roughly 1,500 m² facility in Kenn, wild boar, roe deer, red deer, fallow deer and mouflon are professionally received, cut and refined. Up to 400 animals can be processed per day, with an annual capacity of up to 300 tonnes of game meat – from the 10-kg roe deer through 130-kg stags to the tusker. About 50 % of the meat is used as an ingredient for pet food, 25 % are prime cuts for gastronomy, retail and the butcher's trade, or meat for game sausage production (e.g. standardized game sausage meat for game salami in bags from 100 g to 10 kg). The majority of the goods are produced as frozen products. Artemis is a subsidiary of the pet food manufacturer Vet-Concept from Föhren; the entire animal is utilized. End customers are supplied directly via the company's own factory outlet in Kenn.
