About artomis
artomis GmbH, based in Switzerland, specializes in the consulting, planning, manufacturing, restoration and installation of individual interior fittings. The focus is on hotels and gastronomy; the company is also active in offices, hospitals, banks, retirement and residential homes, the wellness sector, private houses and ship catering. The team led by owner and founder Christian Schenk develops customized concepts together with architects and builders and carries out the implementation through to turnkey handover. The handcrafted furniture – chairs, benches, tables, upholstered and lounge furniture, beds, shelves and counters – is produced in modern workshops in northern Italy; for built-in furnishings, long-established local craft businesses are used. In addition to furniture manufacturing, artomis offers restoration of old and antique objects, floor coverings, carpets and wallpaper as well as lamps, curtains and accessories. Reference projects include Mövenpick Wein-Bar, Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina, Kornhauskeller Bern and various Migros restaurants.
