Artur Glöckler GmbH vorm. Schleifmittelwerk Kahl was founded in 1910 in Kahl am Main and develops, produces and distributes chemically technical specialty products. The range includes running-in and lapping pastes based on diamond grain, boron carbide, silicon carbide and aluminium oxide for materials such as hardened steels, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, titanium, ceramics and plastics. Further product groups are polishing pastes, lubricants, silicone greases for drinking water applications, coffee machines and gas appliances, assembly pastes (anti-seize), solid lubricants, Prussian-blue marking pastes, layout dyes, specialty cleaners as well as release agents and boron nitride products for the aluminium industry. The company also distributes 3M™ boron carbide and boron nitride products (formerly TETRABOR® and EKamold®) as a sales partner. Production and administration have been CO2-neutral since 2013; the integrated management system is validated according to EMAS, OHRIS and DIN EN ISO 9001. The company's seat and production site is Kahl am Main in Bavaria.
