arwus GmbH, based in Chemnitz-Euba, develops and manufactures air barrier systems as an alternative to conventional air curtain systems. The systems consistently separate areas with different temperatures or ventilation – for example between chilled and deep-freeze zones, in industrial halls, in recycling and pharmaceutical logistics, and in retail and comfort areas such as shopping centers. The systems prevent draughts in an energy-efficient manner, protect against pollutants, odors and dust, ensure inertization and fire protection through air quality separation, and also serve as insect protection. For every application, arwus engineers tailored solutions based on the patented arwus technology. Together with partner companies such as GromeTec, individual substructures for air barrier systems are implemented. In 2026, the company celebrates its 35th anniversary.
