About us
AS Kunststoffprofile GmbH is a medium-sized plastics processor based in Oberhausen specializing in custom profile extrusion. Production is carried out to drawing or sample using purpose-designed tools – the website does not mention a standard catalogue range off the shelf, but does list a standard program without tooling costs for hose profiles, glazing bead cord, PE foam round cord and furniture edging. At the core of production are nine extrusion lines and four co-extrusion lines on which thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers are processed; in rigid-soft composites, carrier and sealing zones are created in a single step. The service portfolio covers profile development and tooling coordination, extrusion, co-extrusion, finishing and assembly (cutting to length, punching, drilling, bending, bonding, adhesive tape application) as well as marking and printing in-line. Application industries include mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, construction and interior fitting, automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing, furniture and shopfitting, as well as ventilation and air conditioning. Start-up scrap and residual material are ground and returned to the process as recyclate. The quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2014.
